Head Street Gallery has been designed as an alternative to the often silent and intimidating 'traditional' gallery, the hit and miss of buying at fairs or art sales, or simply buying an off the peg print that thousands  of others will have on their walls.

As well as providing a wide range of original, affordable art plus hand crafted items in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere Head Street Gallery aims to give the customer as much information as possible about the artist or maker of items sold. 

Combining painting and sculpture with ceramics, glassware, jewellery, hand made greetings cards and much more.  The gallery is an ideal place to shop for gifts for all occasions.  Sourced from around the world, most items sold are hand made.  

The gallery  also contains a coffee bar where customers can have free access to books and publications covering many aspects of art and craft.

Two dedicated exhibition rooms host a series of regular exhibitions of both individuals and groups of artists.

The gallery aims to promote new and developing artists as well as more established practitioners, and to appeal to all tastes.  

Head Street Gallery staff are available to offer help and information on artwork for your home or business.  Private viewing in your own home or business can be arranged to help you decide on your purchase. 

Greetings cards
The gallery offers its own range of greetings cards produced on the premises and these can be personalized to your requirements.  Why not include the names of your loved ones on their birthday cards, or splash out 
on hand made invitations for that special occasion.  Choose a design from the range available or for quantities over 100 a unique card can be designed and produced to your requirements.   Staff will work with you to create a design that perfectly reflects you and your family or business.  A mailing service is  available for that total peace of mind.

Art Works
Commissions are accepted for all types of works of art, and where appropriate, specialist artists or crafts people will be sourced.
